File Paths
How can I default a new spreadsheet to always show the file path. I know how to do footers. I want to actually ammend the main new template for this.
Thanks
RE: File Paths
Hi Gareth, one way is to customise the interface to remove the File-New icon, and replace it with a macro that generates a new spreadsheet from your customised template.
However, find you XLStart folder on your c:\ drive and place your customised spreadsheet in there, renaming it as "Book.xls". I have found that doing this forces Excel to start with the customisations already in place, which may be a better solution for you.
Hope this is helpful,
Anthony
