How would I sum up figures in cells in a row?
RE: Microsoft Excel Introduction
Hi Simon
hope you are well, there many ways to sum up figures all you would need to do is either type up a formula for example
in the blank cell under the figures: =b3+b4+b5+b6+b7 and press enter or you could also try any of the following
You could type the following formula as follows using the cell references that you need: =sum(b3:b7) in the blank cell where you answer needs to go, or you could clink on the blank cell the go to the AUTOSUM toolbar button which looks like this ∑ you can also do other formulas such as average, min and max by replace the word SUM with arevage which would look like this =average(b3:b7)
hope this helps
