Sistribute shapes

What is the difference between distribute shapes as they all seem to do the same things?

RE: Sistribute shapes

Hello Naheed

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

Firstly check how the shapes are positioned on the page in relation to each other - are they across the page (horizontal) or up and down the page (vertical)?

Secondly the distribution is decided based on making the shapes an equal distance from each other at the point you select - whether it be from the top of one shape to another; the bottom edge of one shape to another; or the centre of one shape to another.

You may not notice any difference between these options when the shapes you are working with are the same size; or if the shapes have edges that aren't straight.

Kind regards
Amanda
