Can you explain the difference between B$5 & $B$5

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question.
$B$5 - When the formula is copied to other cells, that exact cell reference is used in all the other formulas. So every cell is multiplied or added to/by cell B5.
B$5 - When the formula is copied to other cells, the row will not change but the column reference will.
