can i create my own chart type?

Thank you for attending PowerPoint 2007 Introduction course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
Yes you can create your own chart template that you can save in PowerPoint or Excel and then use that next time when you want to create a chart for the new data.
Please follow these steps:
1. Create a chart as normal
2. Then insert a Logo or change the background colour or the fill colour of the series, etc... to customized the chart to your preference.
3. On the Charts Contextualized tab in the Design tab click on the save as Template.
4. In the save Chart template dialog box give the name of your choice and then press Save.
5. In the future when you want to create a new chart from the template. Simply click on the Charts button. Choose the Template folder and you should be able to see the chart you created choose it and then press OK.
