Hi Cindy,
To freeze panes you are freezing everything to the left of your cursor and everything above you cursor. So if you want to keep rows 1 and 2, click on the row heading 3 and go into Window and down to Freeze Panes. If you wanted to keep column A click in the column heading B and go to Windows, Freeze Panes. If however, you wanted to do both rows 1 and 2 and column B, all you would need to do is put your cursor in cell B3.
