Drawing size

how do you print a3 drawings to larger size paper without it printing the drawing as an a3 on the larger sheet?

RE: drawing size

Hi Charles,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

If you open the drawing and go to File/Page Setup and then select the Print Setup tab, you will see the Printer Paper drop down, from this list select User Defined (you may need to scroll to the bottom of the list).

Once User defined is selected click the Setup button and from the Source drop down and from the list select the tray containing the paper then hit Ok.

Once back in the Print Setup tab ensure the Print Zoom is set to fit to 1 sheet across and 1 sheet down.

Alternativel you could try printing it to A3 and then putting it through a photocopier and blowing it up.

Have a great weekend

Kind regards

Maggie Gilpin

Visio tip:

Using the Quick Access Toolbar in Visio 2010

The Quick Access Toolbar is included in virtually every Office product, including Visio 2010 as well as Outlook 2010, Word 2010, Excel 2010, and PowerPoint 2010.

You will find the Quick Access Toolbar in the top-left side of the window. To begin, click the Customize button (it's the little black arrow at the end of the toolbar).

Simply click the commands you want to include.

Virtually any command can be added to the Quick Access Toolbar. Click the More Commands option and a new window will open from where you can browse the commands including those not on the ribbon.
