how do you format a 3D fomular?

Hi Gerard, Thank you for your question:

It is not normal to format a formula, you would normally format the result of the formula, and to do this you select the cell/s and then on the Menu bar got to Format>Cells and from the tabs choose the formatting you wish to apply.
If however you mean how do you create a 3D formula:
Select the cell you wish to have the result appear in, press the = key on your keyboard and then navigate to the worksheet/workbook to find the cell you wish to link to, select it and press Enter. I hope that helps ... Pete

Adding Rows or Columns in an Excel 2010 Worksheet

If you want to add a row to an Excel spreadsheet, these are the simple steps you should take:

With your mouse, right click on the row header below where you want the new row to be added. Then, click Insert.

Follow exactly the same steps if you want to add a column to an Excel worksheet, right click on the column header, choose Insert and the new column will be inserted to the left of the selected column.
