how do i compare two lots of data in one graph if the indices are different - for example, comparing prices of two commodities, oil in US dollars per barrel, and gasoline in Euros per metric tonne?

Thank you for your question
This is a case where you might want to use a secondary data axis. This places another axis on the right side of the chart and plots the selected series against that axis, whilst leaving the other series plotted against the primary axis on the left hand side.
Simply right click on the series in question and select series propeties. On the resulting dialog select the axis tab and choose the secondary axis option button.
