Task dependency
Can a task have a start/start dependency and finish/finish with the same task?
RE: Task dependency
Hi Farzana
Thank you for your question
To do as you described you would have to link to same tasks together twice, one on a Start to Start, and one on a Finish to Finish. Project will not allow you to do this.
One solution would be to arbitrarily divide each of the tasks into two smaller tasks. Simply break task 1 into task 1a and task 1b, and link finish to start. And then divide task 2 into task 2a and task 2 b and link finish to start.
You could then link task 1a and 2 a on a start to start, and task 1b and 2b on a finish to finish. This would have the effect of constraining both the start and the finish of both tasks.

Stephen
