how do I create a Template
from from an existing workbook?

RE: Templates

Hi John, Thank you for your post, I hope you enjoyed your course; in answer to your question; in your existing workbook, choose the menu command File, Save As, in the dialog box, name your Workbook, and from the Save As Type option choose Template, if you do not wish your new Template to be saved in the General Templates area, navigate to a folder of your choice and click the Save button. I hope that helps, best regards Pete

RE: Templates

Thanks Pete, Yes that does help.
Regards
John

Excel tip:

Change the Value of a Constant

When using a named constant in a worksheet, you may wish to change the value of that constant.

From the 'Insert' menu, select 'Name', then select 'Define'.

In the 'Define Name' dialog box, select the constant that you want to change.
Change the value in the 'Refers To' box.
Click OK.

Wherever that named constant has been used it will now use its new value.
