It is difficult to say what potential employers will ask about project at an interview. It might be a good idea to say that you have recently been on an MS Project course and list the things that we covered. You can find this informtion on our website.

As to the second part of your question, effort driven tasks are those which can have their duration altered with the addition or removal of resources. For example if you are digging a garden and it takes 2 people 3 days to do it, adding an extra person might reduce the time it takes.

However, if the task was a meeting that was schduled to last for a day; then adding extra people to the meeting would not alter the duration of the task. In this case the meeting would not be effort driven
