How do you identify hanging depedency
RE: Hanging Depedency
Hi Steve,
Simply add the successors column to the GANTT chart. To do this click right click on a column head and select insert column and choose successors.
Then activate the autofilter and choose NA. If NA doesn't appear, there will be a blank row in the drop down and you should select this.
Any items that then appear in the filtered that are not outline tasks, or the final milestone will need to be linked to the final milestone on a Finish to start basis.
Regards
Stephen

MS Project tip:Link tasks using predecessor column - projecta. First, note ID number of the task you want to link to (predecessor). Then, in the predecessor column of the task you want to link to (successor), type the predecessor task's ID number. |
