Integration with MS Outlook
I'd like to know whether Project Server has the facility of assigning tasks directly to individuals' MS Outlook and also whether key dates can be automatically updated in the Outlook diaries?
RE: Integration with MS Outlook
The standard solution is to use MS Project Server.
The original solution was to be found in MS Project 2000 and 2002 and was called "workgroups". This has now been discontinued and Microsoft no longer supports the function although it can be found on the microsoft website.

MS Project tip:Inserting Task Durations QuicklyWhen entering durations for your tasks simply use the single letters - m for min, h for hr, d for day, w for week, but mon for month. If default is set for days, you need only type the number, for example 3 for 3days, or 0.5 for half a day. |
