Costs
Is it possible to measure costs, actual vs planned?
RE: Costs
Hi James
Thanks for your questions. It is possible but before Project can gather the necessary data you need to save a baseline (Tools > Tracking > Save baseline).
In the Gantt Chart view switch to the Costs table (View > Table > Costs) Here you will see costs, baseline and variance information calculated for you.
As you update your project these figures will automatically adjust.
I hope this is helpful - do let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:Typing Links Between TasksIn the Entry table, use the Precessors column to type in links. Type the previous task's ID to link. To change the link, add FS (Finish-Start), FF (Finish-Finish), and so on, and + duration to add a Lag, or - duration for a Lead time. Example: for task 5, 4FS+1w ... task 4 preceeds task 5, finish to start, with a week lag between. |
