Hi There,
Is there a guideline to how heavy each page can be? I have been using a few books, and they all recommend different amounts. one is 20K-50K another says 75K-150K.
Many thanks,
Maggie
RE: Download Times
Hi Maggie
It really does depend on the purpose of the website. All you really need to make sure of is that everything you want is on the page and that all the image content is optimised.
Also bear in mind your target audience, are they still going to have dial-up or will they all have broadband. If they all have broadband then you don't need to worry as much.
Hope this helps
David
