Hi Debbie,

Sometimes parts of your Visio file may disappear for a short time due to layers within the application. It may also help to focus on the label that you are entering.

Do the other names reappear once you have entered the new name? If so, this is just Visio refreshing all the elements on the screen.

There may be an option to toggle this in Visio's program settings.
