Merging cells

How can I merge two cells together and then unmerge them??
Please?

Hi Natasha. Select the cells you want to merge and then chose Format - Cells - the Alignment tab and tick the merge cells box.

Alternatively use the icon on your formatting toolbar, it looks like an "a" with two arrows on either side. Clicking the icon again (or unticking the merge cells tick box) splits the cells back in two.
