How can a currency be introduced?

Hi Marcela

The fastest way to do this is to select the cells that you want to have a currency format, and then hit the MONEY toolbar icon. It is just to the left of the percentage icon.

The other way to do it is to right click on the cells you want to format, and then choose FORMAT CELLS. On the Number tab you will see two options - CURRENCY and ACCOUNTING. they are vry similar, just that ACCOUNTING will align the currency symbol to the left of the column.

Reset Excel toolbars to default settings

If you find any of your toolbars in Excel have changed (i.e. they are missing or have extra buttons) then you can reset them to their defaults.

1. Go to Tools - Customise.
2. Select the Toolbars tab.
3. Select (highlight) the name of the toolbar you wish to reset, then click the Reset button on the right.
4. Close the dialogue box.
