My Bloomberg toolbar (BBG wizard etc) keeps disappearing each day and I have to re-select it. How do I ensure it is on there every day? Thanks
RE: Excel
Hi Pritesh,
Thanks for the question, which is a good one!
In general, excel will remember whatever toolbars you closed the application down with and bring them all back again. Which makes me think there is something unusual about this Bloomberg toolbar! You could try creating a custom toolbar and see if that stays put, i.e right click up in your toolbars and go to customise, go to the tab that says Toolbars, click the button that says New. Then drag and drop some of your Bloomberg functions on to your custom toolbar and see if that remains. Good luck

Excel tip:Formula for last day of monthIn some cases it is necessary to find the last day of a month for a given date. If you use the following formula, you can achieve this, ie; if you have a column of dates, use this formula to find the end of month for each day by using the fill handle. The formula is as follows, and assumes in this example that the first date in question is in cell C5, in any other cell type; =DATE(YEAR(C5),MONTH(C5)+1,1)-1 |
