Formatting image to shape
I have pasted an image from my files into VISIO, it is rectangular in shape. I would like it to fit to a custom shape i draw in visio. How can I put this shape over my image and then cut out the bits of the image that dont fit into that shape?
RE: Formatting image to shape
Hello Sam,
Thank you for your question. Although Visio is a very good app for designing flowcharts and other diagrams, it doesn't have great tools for shape / image editing.
What you might need to do is design your shape in PowerPoint, because at least here you can fill or crop an image into the shape. Afterwards, you can copy and paste your custom shape / image into Visio.
This works for me when I do it.
I hope this helps!
Kind regards
