Microsoft Project - Task bar length
When preparing a project I notice that some task bars show almost no length, although they are for the same duration (e.g. 5hrs) as the other before and after them. If I expand the Gantt chart sufficiently the bars will pop out to represent the same length as others. Why does this happen, please?
RE: Microsoft Project - Task bar length
Hi
Thank you for using the forum to ask a question.
The bars draw through non-working time making the task look longer.
When you are zoomed out it's trying to show you a task that starts on one day and rolls over and finishes on another. Hence the longer bar.
When you zoom in your scale turns into hours and it shows accurately.
Kind regards
