can a 'week' column in the gantt chart be highlighted, eg to show a school half term, but continue as working time

Hi Karen
I don't think there's a way of highlighting working time such as half term. One way though would be to use the Drawing tools and draw a coloured rectangle representing the period. Drawing object can be sent behind the task bars by right click, Arrange.
This is not a good solution if you zoom to a different timescale though.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm putting my new found skills to the test this morning by setting up my own programme so I'll give it a go but appreciate the limitations!
