how do you get a split screen

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
You can access the 'Split Window' feature via the Window menu. If you are in Gantt chart view it will open the the Task Form underneath which displays the Resources and Predecessor information for each Task you select in the top half.
I hope this answers your question.

MS Project tip:Link tasks using predecessor column - projecta. First, note ID number of the task you want to link to (predecessor). Then, in the predecessor column of the task you want to link to (successor), type the predecessor task's ID number. |
