Creating .gif and screen scrapes in MSProject 2010
Hi,
Apologies but I have forgotten how to copy the full screen with tasks and time line to create .gifs that can be inserted into reports created in Word and email.
Please could you remind me how to do the screen shots without copying the whole scree, putting it into Paint then cutting and pasting into Word?
Many thanks,
Louise
RE: Creating .gif and screen scrapes in MSProject 2010
Hello Louise,
Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Project 2010 course with Best STL.
Thank you for your question regarding copying the Gantt chart with table view for insertion into another application.
First make sure that you select the entire table by clicking the top corner of your ID column. Then from the Clipboard group located in the Task ribbon, click the drop-down arrow of the copy button. Since you have selected the entire project all you then have to do is click OK accepting the default values.
Then go to the application where you wish to paste this picture and choose whichever paste option you require.
Please remember, that you do not have to select the .gif option, unless you intend viewing the results in Internet Explorer.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
Regards,
Rodney

MS Project tip:Typing Links Between TasksIn the Entry table, use the Precessors column to type in links. Type the previous task's ID to link. To change the link, add FS (Finish-Start), FF (Finish-Finish), and so on, and + duration to add a Lag, or - duration for a Lead time. Example: for task 5, 4FS+1w ... task 4 preceeds task 5, finish to start, with a week lag between. |
