Pivot Tables

Hi,
I have a huge worklsheet with training data of over 400 people in it which i need to sumarise in the first sheet (for those who can't be bothered to look at all the data)
All i want to select is @Country' and 'Training Completed'. The data in 'Training completed' is either 'Y' or 'N', but the data is not showing up in the table - just the headings.
Driving me mental now!

RE: Pivot Tables

Hi Suzi,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

Did you add the Training Completed as a column heading?

This would only work if you had a value field like the number of delegates to display under Yes or No.

Try adding the Training Completed field as a second row heading after the Country.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Convert a column into row quickly in Excel 2010

Occasionally you might enter data into Excel vertically and then when you finish realize that actually it would look more clearer if it was represented in a horizontal format. If you follow these simple steps below, you can quickly change the data from going vertically to horizontally and vice versa.

First, select the column you want to convert into a row or a row into a column. Then right click and select Copy. Go to the sheet where you want to past this row as a column and select “Paste Special”. Remember to check the check-box “Transpose” and select “OK”.
