References change when executing macro

Hello,

I have a macro that draw a circle object in spreasheet "1" using coordinates found in spreadsheet "2". It draws on top of a picture. However, when executing the macro repeatively, the dots are shifted with each iteration and not always in the same way. Could you please help on this. This might be another question but could you also tell me how to fix the background picture so no one can change its position.
I thank you very much for this.

Regards,

Fred.

RE: references change when executing macro

Hi frederic

Thanks for your question

In order to answer this I would need a copy of the workbook with the macros in question

If possible could you email it to sw@stl-training.co.uk, and then I can take a look

Thanks

Stephen

RE: references change when executing macro

Hi Stephen,

I have now sent you a copy of the workbook for your perusal.
Your help would be much appreciated on this and I thank you for it.

Fred.

RE: references change when executing macro

Hello Stephen,

I have not yet been able to resolve this problem so your help would be welcome. let me know if you neeed further information. there was a second item to my original post that, again, have not found answer about so it would be good if you could give me a hint as well for this one.

Thank you very much.

Regards,

Fred L

RE: references change when executing macro

Hi Frederic

Thanks for that. I will look at the problem over the course of today and tomorrow. I cannot find the workbook that you originally sent me. I think I may have lost it when my old laptop died.

Could you resend it to sw@stl-training.co.uk

Thanks

Stephen

RE: references change when executing macro

Hello Stephen,

It's a very long and complex programme so I can't really put it on there. Is it possible to send you the file rather?
Thank you for your prompt answer.

Regards,

Fred

Excel tip:

Calculate age or service

The DATEDIF() function in Excel calculates the number of days, months, or years between two dates. So, this function makes it easy to calculate a person's age. To try this tip:

In a blank worksheet, type the birth date in cell A1, using slashes to separate day, month, and year.
In cell A2, type =DATEDIF(A1,TODAY(),"y") and press ENTER.
