If I send my presentation to someone and they amend a picture / text that I've put over a hyperlink, will this stop the hyperlink working?
RE: Powerpoint 2007
Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for your question.
If you have inserted an image into your presentation and assigned a hyperlink to that object, it will still continue to work even if the the image's appearance is ammended.
If however, the hyperlink is attached to text and later the text ammended on the slide, this can remove the hyperlink, the hyperlink would need to be re-assigned to the text.
If you do want to change the text that has a hyperlink assigned to it, the best way would be to select the text and then select 'Hyperlink' from the 'Insert' tab. In the 'Text to Display' field at the top of the dialogue box enter the text you would like to see appear
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
