do you have to create a pivot table from an existing spreadsheet or can i create one straight in this format?

Hi Lianne,
Thank you for your question.
When you're creating a PivotTable you will either need existing Excel data with column headers so that you can select the range for the PivotTable to use or the data can come from an external data source, i.e. an alternative data source on your network, however the data must already exist.
