On the bottom of page 19 on my Excel 2007 introduction workbook it said:
Use Ctr+"pipe" key to display formulas and show the absolute reference in the formula in column L.
It doesn't seem to work for me.
Can you please advise.

Shortcut keys can sometimes vary depending on the layout of your keyboard, and regional settings
As an alternative I have found a reference that suggests that ctrl + ' will toggel between formulas and values
