MSProject - Resourcing
Can the projects of several resources be combined into one overall project plan?
RE: MSProject - Resourcing
Hi Yelena
Thank you for your question. Yes they can by putting all the resource details into a plan (which becomes the Resource Pool). Then in each plan that needs to use members of that team go to the Tools menu and choose Resource Sharing > Share resources. Select the option to use resources from the Resource pool and now you will be able to assign resources from the Resource Pool to tasks in your project.
I hope this helps do let us know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:Typing Links Between TasksIn the Entry table, use the Precessors column to type in links. Type the previous task's ID to link. To change the link, add FS (Finish-Start), FF (Finish-Finish), and so on, and + duration to add a Lag, or - duration for a Lead time. Example: for task 5, 4FS+1w ... task 4 preceeds task 5, finish to start, with a week lag between. |
