When my table is in design view, can I print off a list of headings (Field names)
RE: TABLES
Hi Felice, thanks for the query. You can't directly print off a list of the fields from table design view, but you can use the Documenter tool to do something very similar.
Save your table, and then select Tools - Analyze - Documenter. Select the table you want to analyze by ticking the relevant box, then choose Options. In there you can drill down to the information you want. Selecting just "Names, Data Types And Sizes" is fine. Click OK twice and the result will be a document you can print with breakdown information of your selected table in it.
Hope this helps,
Anthony
