Distributing Shapes
When you distribute the shapes they say they are equidistance but they appear to be different as the spaces may be 1 1/2 boxes apart and the other space 3 boxes apart?
RE: Distributing Shapes
Hi Charlotte,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
Distribute Shapes is a tool that is used to evenly space three or more selected shapes on the drawing page. The equal space relates to the space between shape 1 and shape 2 and shape 2 and shape 3.
If you select three shapes and distribute them. Keeping the shapes selected, produce a report for the selected shapes only showing the X position. Once you open the excel file, it should show that the shapes are spaced evenly based on the centre point of each shape.
I hope this helps.
Regards
Simon
