What's the best way to copy excel spreadsheets to powerpoint?

You might find this useful, although it requires an additional step in Excel. I have used it for years and I am sure that it produces the clearest and most versatile 'picture' in PowerPoint. Within PowerPoint the picture of the data can be resized with no problems, but it is a picture, there is no dynamic link to excel.
As follows:
Within Excel - select and copy the data (or chart) that you wish to copy to PowerPoint.
Still within Excel - click on a blank cell and then press [Shift]+[Edit] and you will find an additional option 'Paste Picture Link' on the drop menu. Select this option and the area that you copied will be pasted as a picture link. This is dynamically linked to the original Excel selection, and any changes will be reflected in the linked picture.
Still within Excel - right click on the picture and select copy from the drop menu.
Move to PowerPoint - and paste (no need to
