How do you get a legible A4 print off of a timeplan?
RE: Microsoft project
Hi Lisette
Thank you for your question. Sometimes printing can present problems. A4 is a common output format for printing but is quite small when it comes to printing a plan and its tasks.
There are some things you can do to make this easier.
From the menu choose File > Page set-up and from the dialogue box that appears you can use scaling at less that 100% to fit more onto the page - however as you have discovered this can also make the task names too small to read. So as an alternative try setting the option to print 1 page wide by 1 page tall. OK out of the dialogue box and from the view menu choose zoom. You can set the zoom level to show the entire project.
Let us know how you get on or if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:Compare Work and DurationDuration is the timescale within which a task is done; Work is the specific time element used. For example, 3 days work in a duration of 2 weeks. To compare, add the Work field into the Entry table by right clicking a column heading to Add Field. |
