Formatting multiple worksheets

how do I apply the same format to all worksheets I have created?

RE: formatting multiple worksheets

Hi Catherine

Thanks for the post - sorry for the late reply

The easiest way to apply the same format to all other sheets is by using the format painter how to do this is as follows

Hightlight the cell you want to copy the formatting for then double click the format painter button from the toolbar when done that - go through the other sheets clicking on all the cells you want the same format

There is another way but you need to have all the data in the same place throughout the sheets

If you want to know more of this just reply to this post

Excel tip:

Turn Function tooltips on and off

Excel 2002 (XP) and Excel 2003 have the Function tooltips facility. When you type in a function name followed by a bracket, for example, =IF(, a yellow box appears beside the function name and lists the function's arguments. This is very useful when you can't quite remember the order of a function's arguments or what the arguments actually are!

However, Function tooltips can become annoying. To turn them off, choose Tools|Options. and select the General tab. Then, untick the Function tooltips box and choose OK.
