how do I get the connection string to a csv file

RE: ADO

Hi Ian

Thank you for your question

It is possible to connect to a csv file. The code however is rather involved and there are a number of additional concepts that you need to understand; as a result providing a full answer is beyond the scope of the forum.

I have found the following web page that provides some sample code that you might find useful.

http://www.vb-helper.com/howto_ado_load_csv.html

I have not however tested the code, so you should use it with caution.

We can if required provide further assistance, although this would be on a consultancy basis

Regards

Stephen
