Thanks for your question. You can change the format of critical tasks by switching to Tracking Gantt view and from the menu choosing Bar Styles. The dialog box that appears shows you the formats for the various objects appearing on your chart. You will find an entry marked Critical. Select it from the list and in the lower half of the dialog you and change the colour and shape formats for that object.
