How do you post a formula using the today function to work out how many days would be left on a contract?

RE: Excel

Hi Matthew

Thanks for your question. You could use a formula as follows:

=A1-today()

Where A1 contains the expiry date of the contract. You may need to format the result as a general number.

I hope this helps - let us know if you need any further information.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Excel tip:

Using Excel's MODE function

Use Excel's MODE function to display the most common value present in a particular range of cells.

The Mode function looks like this:

=MODE(cell range)

As an example, if 35 is the most commonly recurring number in a particular cell range, then the function will display 35.
