MS project

I would like to know how to export data / reports to excel without getting the problem of MSP summary task data exporting as well. I have tried this and always seem to get this issue.

RE: MS project

Hi Steve

Thanks for your question.

Create a filter (Project > Filtered for > more filters > new)
Leave the Show related summary rows unticked

Test your filter to make sure it hides the summary rows and set back to show all tasks.

Run the export to Excel. In the task mapping step choose the filter (top right corner) and complete the export.

You should find the filter ensures that only tasks an not summaries are exported.

I tested this and it worked fine.

Kind regards,
Andrew
