Easiest way to import an excel sheet into access

RE: access

Dear Veronica

Thank you for attending Access course. I hope you enjoyed the courses and benefited from them.

The easiest way of importing Excel sheets into Access is to choose File > Get External Data > Import...

In the dialog box please choose Microsft Excel in the file type. Locate the file that needs to be imported. Double click on it.

Follow the Import wizard step by step.

In Excel it is best to start your column headings that need to appear in a Access Table from Row 1.

The last step in the wizard asks you if you want the data in a new table or an existing table.

I hope this answers your query. Please mark the post as resolved.

Kindest Regards
