What if I'm preparing a form in design view and no form heading comes up? How do I make one appear?
RE: Forms in design view Field List
Dear Helena
Thank you for attending Access courses. I hope you enjoyed the courses and benefited from them.
I think you might have double clicked on the "Create Form in design view" Button.
It is best to choose New Button whenever you are creating any objects such as Tabels, Queries, Forms or Reports. It provides many more options.
To create a Form in Design view please follow these steps:
Choose Forms from the objects Bar on the left hand side.
Click the New button on the toolbar create a new Form.
Choose the Design View Option and also choose the Table or the Query you would like to apply the Form from the drop down arrow (THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT)!!
Once you are in the design view of the form you should be able to see the field list dialog box from which you can drag and drop the field of your choice. If you do not see the field list dialog box then press the Field List button next to the ToolBox button on the toolbar.
If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!
Kindest Regards
