Drop Down Box
How do I create and customise a drop down box in my toolbar that will filter information on the excel sheet.
I want the drop down options to be specific becasue I filter out information using these options on a frequent basis and with different Excel documents.
RE: Drop Down Box
Hi Rebecca
Thanks for your question.
You can create custom views which you can then change between by adding a window to your toolbar.
To create a custom view, change the spreadsheet so that it just shows what you want to see on the screen, then go to View - Custom Views. A little window will open and you can click the Add button and name the view.
Keep doing this until you have created all the custom views you want to have, then go to Tools - Customise - Commands. Select View from the Categories list then find the Custom views window in the list on the right so you can drag and drop it onto the toolbar.
I hope this helps
Amanda
