How do I insert a chart in a Master Slide?
RE: PowerPoint Master Slide
Hi Maryann,
In a normal circumstances, you will not put a chart in a master slide. I can only assume you are in one of the following senario:
Case 1) You need a fix chart to appear on every slide. If so, you will create the chart in Excel first, then simply Cut then Paste Special > Picture into the Master Slide.
Case 2) You need a chart template with company standard colours waiting for other users to put in their data. In that case, you would create your chart on a normal slide. Then save it as Design Template .pot
In the case 2, you can use this template again by selecting File menu > New > General Template > select your chart template > press OK
Hope this is useful.
Kind regards,
Katie
