Hi James,
Thanks for your question.
There are two ways to sum a column of numbers:
1) Click on the cell where you will put the total. Click on the Autosum button Σ, then select the whole column of cells and press Return/Enter.
2) Select the column of numbers first then click on the Autosum button Σ.
TIP: quick way to select a column of data, click on the first cell > press CTRL+SHIFT+ ↓ (down arrow)
