Using Viso with other MS applications

Can you import MS Project information (e.g. gantt charts/timelines) into Visio to produce diagrams/schematics?

I currently work with MS Project and need to produce " A project on a page" summary for each project strand.

RE: Using Viso with other MS applications

Hi Dawn

Thank you for your question.

I did a bit of research on the internet and found some links that you might find useful. Just as a warning, I haven't fully tested these so not sure if there are any pitfalls but give it a go and let me know if you have any problems.

Creating a timeline in Visio from Project (from the Microsoft web site): http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/visio/HA010773061033.aspx

Creating a gantt chart in Visio from Project (Microsoft web site, refers to Visio 2007 but same options available in 2003): http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/visio/HP012077531033.aspx

I hope this helps.
Amanda
