F11 function on Macs

Hello,
I was wondering what the Mac alternative for producing a chart in Excel, using the F11 key, would be.
I think on a Mac this shortcut would clear all workbooks to show the desktop.
Many thanks,
Chrissie

RE: F11 function on Macs

Hi Chrissie, Thank you for your post, welcome to the forum, in answer to your question, I have done quite a bit of searching and even spoke to a Mac user, and it seems that you are right, using the F11 key would show the desktop, I cant seem to pin down an alternative key combination which will do the trick. Sorry about that, best regards Pete

Excel tip:

Brighten up your Excel 2010 Spreadsheet by changing the colours of the gridlines

Excel 2010 allows you to change the colour of grid lines instead of keeping them in boring black.

Select the File tab on the Ribbon, click Options, click Advanced, scroll down to ''Display options for this worksheet.'' Next to ''Gridline colour,'' choose your favourite colour, then once you've done this, click OK. Easy!
