If you create a table in Excel 2007 will it open in Excel 2003?
RE: Tables
Hi Annette, Welcome to the forum, Thank you for your first post, in answer to your question, Excel like all of Microsoft Office programs (Access partially so) is completly backward compatible, this means that anything created in 2003 will open in 2007, however the other way round (your question) is no the case, if you have 2007 on your PC and your colleagues are still using 2003 you can get round the problem by using the save as option; To save your worksheet so that it can be used in a previous version; click the Office Button, choose Save As and from the options choose Excel 97-2003 to enable those versions to open and use the worksheet. I hope that answers your question, if it does please click the Resolved link. best regards Pete.
