How do I get more than one person to have access to the access database at one time?

RE: Access

Hi Ruhena,
Welcome to the forum and thank you for your post, in answer to your question, the quickest and easiest way to share a database is to ensure first that each user has Access installed on their local computer.
Set up a shared folder where all users are able to access it.
Copy the Access database to the shared folder.
Make sure the Access database is is set to open in shared mode (which is the default setting).
To check if the database is set to shared mode> Tools>Options>Advanced Tab, under Default open mode ensure that Shared is selected.
I hope that helps, best regards Pete.

Access tip:

Dsum

You can create percentage values based on individual products / items by using a Dsum function (used with a grouped query)

[Each value column] / Dsum[field:total for the column needed to be calculated],[tablename]
