How do you convert into currency

Thank you for attending the Excel Intermediate course. I hope you enjoyed the training.
I am not sure if the question is more specific to 2003 or 2007 version.
To convert cells containing numbers in to currency
In 2003 or previous version is Format > Cells... In the format cells dialog box in the number tab choose currency with the desired number of decimal places.
In 2007 - simply right-click after selecting the cells that you require to be in currency format. Choose the format cells... from the shortcut menu.
And follow the same steps as 2003.
NB: the shortcut key is CTRL+SHIFT+$. This will format all your selected cells to the currency with two decimal places of the regional settings (
